Herb & Garlic (Boursin Cheese Spread/Dip)

Text Box: Sprinkle the dry spice blend on vegetables, toss in 1 tablespoon of olive oil and roast on a cookie sheet or grillRub your fish with a little olive oil or no fat mayonnaise and sprinkle the mix on dry and bake as usual.Sprinkle dry on a baked potato, or make according to directions and place a dollop on your baked potato.Coat chicken tenders with the dry spice blend, mix and bake.  Add to a marinara sauce, top with mozzarella cheese and bake.  Serve over cooked vermicelli.Pinwheel appetizers:  Make the mix as directed, spread on a flat wrap, add roast beef or chicken and top with a spring mix. Roll tightly, slice the roll 1 inch thick and secure with toothpicks.Use dry as a rub on pork or chicken and bake.Mix as directed, fill hollowed out cherry tomatoes and chill.  You can also add crumbled bacon and serve on a piece of lettuce. Yum!Sprinkle dry on cooked pasta along with a little garlic olive oil, add sun-dried tomatoes and chicken for a quick meal.Use as a salt substitute or seasoning.Mix a small amount of the dry mix into goat cheese and serve with crackers or stuff vegetables.Spread the prepared mix on a pizza crust or boboli, top with sliced tomatoes, crumbled goat or feta cheese and shredded basil and bake.Make as directed and stuff baked new red potatoes.Use as a bread dipping spice with a good olive oil.  Add some balsamic vinegar. Add the whole package to 2 eight ounce blocks of melted (in the microwave)cream cheese, add finely chopped shrimp.  Place in a bowl lined with plastic wrap, chill.  Once chilled, tip it out of the bowl and serve with crackers, veggies, pita points.Mix 1-2 Tablespoons with hummus and add lemon juice.

Calcutta Curry Dip

Text Box: Sprinkle dry in prepared chicken salad.Coat raw cashews with olive oil, toss in a small amount of the dry spice blend and bake as usual.Rub pieces of kale with olive oil, rub on some of the dry spice blend and bake for great kale chips.Mix a tablespoon of the dry blend with 1/4 cup of mayonnaise/veganaise and the juice from a whole lemon.  Drizzle on steamed veggies.Mix the dry spice blend with plain yogurt and spread on fish and bake as usual.

Spinach & Shiitake Mushroom Dip

Text Box: Make the dip with 2 large packages of cream cheese, add 1/4 - 1/2 cup of chopped artichoke hearts, and  1/2 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese.  Add garlic and pepper to taste.  Serve warm with crackers, crostini or any hard cracker.Make a loose paste with the dry spice blend and brush over fish and bake as usual.

Sun-Dried Tomato & Horseradish Dip

Text Box: Make as directed and add some chopped shrimp and top on crostinis.Make as directed and pipe into celery.Make as directed, add extra horseradish, a little cocktail sauce and serve with cold shrimp.Mix the dry spice blend with olive oil and use as a meat marinade.Make as directed, and add to cooked pasta along with extra sun-dried tomatoes (or sauteed grape tomatoes), and chicken.Use dry to make a vinaigrette. Add dry mix to homemade hummus. Add lemon juice to taste.Add dry mix to turkey burgers and cook with teriyaki sauce.

Green Onion, Shallot and Garlic Mix

Text Box: Mix the dry spice blend with olive oil and heat in the microwave for 15 seconds.  Let it rest for a few minutes and toss in cooked pasta.Make a vinaigrette with the dry herbs.Mix the dry spice blend in hamburgers and grill.  Or use as a meatloaf seasoning mix.Make with 1/2 sour cream and 1/2 cream cheese and use as a potato topper.Mix with oil to make a marinade.Sprinkle dry over vegetables with or without in olive oil and cook as usual.Use as a seasoning in soups.Sprinkle the dry spice blend in salads as a salt free seasoning.Mix the dry spice blend into hummus and add lemon to taste.

Louisiana BBQ Shrimp

Text Box: Toss shrimp in the dry mix and cook the shrimp in butter.  Add Worcestershire sauce to taste.Sprinkle dry on fish, pork or chicken and cook as usual.Mix with mayonnaise for a great aioli.Use as a supplement for a shrimp or crab boil.

Mexican Chipotle Dip

Text Box: Add the dry mix to taste to hummus.Sprinkle the dry spice blend on fish or chicken and cook as usual.Use the dry mix to make fish tacos.Mix as directed and place a dollop on baked potatoes.Heat Velveta cheese and Rotel tomatoes and add the dry spice mix to taste.Mix as directed and serve with fritos, chips, pita points or vegetables.Use the spice blend dry to make a fajita mix.  Saute red bell peppers, onion and chicken and serve on a wrap.Use the dry spice mix to make a black bean dip.Use the dry spice mix to flavor black bean soup.

Italian Bruschetta Dip

Text Box: Make the dip as directed and place on crostinis or serve with vegetables.  Stuff celery or cherry tomatoes.The prepared dip can be added to cooked pasta.  Add chicken and black olives for a quick meal.Blend white beans, add a drizzle of olive oil and add the dry spice blend to taste. Chill for 4-5 hours and add additional garlic if needed. Serve with pita chips, crackers or vegetables.Make a great meatloaf by adding the dry mix to your usual ingredients and bake.Make the dip as directed and use as a sandwich spread.Make a vinaigrette by adding olive oil and vinegar.

Spicy Asian Fusion Glaze

Text Box: Make as directed and pour over cream cheese and serve with crackers.  Or mash the glaze into cream cheese.Open a snow pea and place a small amount of cream cheese and add glaze for a great finger food.Make as directed, and use as a finishing glaze on salmon, fish, wings, or pork.Cook tofu and glaze with the dip.Make as directed and take 1/4 cup of the prepared glaze, add 1-2 teaspoons of sesame oil, thin to taste and use as a salad dressing.  Add extra soy sauce if needed.  For the salad: 1 cup of coleslaw, 1 cup of lettuce, 1/2 cup matchstick carrots, snow peas, cucumbers and cooked soba noodles.  Toss and serve.Marinate tuna steaks in 1/4 cut of the glaze, sear in sesame oil til brown and put the pan in the oven to finish cooking. Once cooked, glaze again and top with toasted sesame seeds.Rub a little sesame oil on salmon and sprinkle the dry glaze on the fish and bake as usual.  It's so good!

Cranberry Pecan Praline Sauce

Text Box: Make as directed and pour over cream cheese.  Some like to mash the sauce into the cream cheese.Use dry to spread on a ham before baking.Make as directed, toast a slice of pound cake, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzle the sauce over the ice cream and stick a ginger snap on the top.  Yum...To make brie bites:  Make sauce as directed.  Use puff pastry or wonton wrappers.  Place a 1/2 inch piece of brie on the pastry square, top with a little sauce, close and seal with water and bake until the pastry is golden brown.  Use the remaining sauce as a dipping sauce.


Crock Pot Whole Chicken:   Take balls of tin foil and place them on the bottom of the crock pot and place the spice coated chicken on the tin foil which will keep the chicken from soaking in the drippings.  We coat our chicken with our Cajun Blackening Spice.  Cook on low for 6-8 hours.  You'll love this easy week night dinner.  We use the leftover chicken for salads.  This is a no salt, gluten free, sugar free seasoning.
